Brown Pelicans in Florida

The brown pelican is a very common seabird on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of both North and South America. On the Atlantic coast they can be found from Canada to the Amazon River's mouth, and from the Pacific coast of Canada down to Chile. I took this picture of brown pelicans near Sebastian Inlet State Park in Indian River County, Florida. As a Florida native these birds are a very familiar sight to me. I've always seen them when I'm close to the either of Florida's coats, and always enjoy seeing them.
